Philip Andrew Markham II (1958 - 2018)

Shreveport, LA - Drew was born on November 15th, 1958, and grew up with his family in Shreveport. He passed away May 6th in Santa Ana, California, at the age of 59.

Anyone who knew Drew knew how talented, creative, and funny he was. He was on the forefront of the computer gaming industry, and directly developed and designed numerous highly successful, award-winning titles, including Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Redneck Rampage, Kingpin, and Cyberia. In his early years, he worked as a director and composer on various video projects for commercial and industrial clients.

Drew loved to cook, and gave credit to his maternal grandmother, Mimi, for inspiring his culinary skills. He also loved playing guitar and jamming with his friends, and was renowned for his impressions and character voices.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Markham, and his sisters, Laura McDonald and Kathryn Parker. He leaves behind a daughter, Pauline Marie Markham, who lives in France with her mother.

He was married to Jennifer Singh at the time of his passing.

This is a quote from Drew that we all take comfort in: "This is just a moment in time. We will move through it, past it, and be together again on the other side."
