Now that the legalities are out of the way, here are the details. Some of you
may remember me - I'm the crazy who managed to take TW2002 V1.03 to 20,000
sectors by way of a program called The Universe Expander.
I've been out of TW programming for the last 4-5 years, due to job changes,
kids, being sick (I've had 5 root canals - wouldn't wish a root canal on my
worst enemy) and other things.
Recently I started playing again, V2.03 for Major. My original idea when the
programming bug hit was to do a sysop util for Major, however I ran into a
snag... I'm not a registered MBBS sysop, and I'm not a registered TW2002 for
Major BBS user either.
So untill some kind soul gets me a set of TW2002 for Major data files (used
ones, preferably from a board I can get access to, and for a game that's
still running), I've gone back to the TW2002 for DOS (I am a registered sysop
for the DOS version).

What does this program do?
It turns the universe inside out. All the warp points from sector 1 are now
the warp points for sector 5000, and the warp points for sector 5000 are
transfered to sector 1.
You don't get it? Kick everyone out of the game, back up all the files with
a *.DAT filespec, copy LAVALITE.EXE into the data directory, run it, and go
into the game.
This has several interesting effects.
1) all maps made by mappers are now useless
2) there are no bubbles
3) there are no deadends
4) there are no two way warp points
5) your players will have excedrin headache # square root of -1 <EVIL GRIN>
Even better you can run Lavalite the next day and the universe goes back to
normal, untill the next time you run Lavalite (oh dear, you didn't put it in
the nightly batch event did you??? - your poor players!!!)
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT NO ONE IS ONLINE WHEN YOU RUN IT!!! And I don't mean
just in TW2002. As a safety factor I left the Microsoft standard com library
attached, so that if there were any players in TW it would kick them out,
however it closes ALL com ports. Rodents will not be affected, but ALL modem
connections will.
