Vigil was closed, but David Adams and many of his staff were picked up by [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crytek Crytek] (Crysis, Far Cry, etc), which opened a studio in Austin called [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crytek_USA Crytek USA]. Realm COO Salvatore Sferlazza and programmer Dave Bernat recently founded [http://www.battledexgame.com Bandera Games]. Artist Brad Jeansonne joined [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certain_Affinity Certain Affinity] as lead concept artist. In 2003, John Pritchett recovered all TradeWars rights from NCsoft and returned to development and support of classic TradeWars under [[Group:EIS|EIS]].
