The Apolyton TradeWars Group was formed in 2001 as a group of Apolyton Civilization Site members playing TradeWars at the Firaxis TWGS. When the Firaxis server shut down, it was replaced by the Apolyton TWGS, as well as Xentropy's TWGS which offered heavily edited games.
